Barbara Scott

After learning with dismay that she could not be a horse when she grew up, Barb Scott decided to be the next best thing – an artist. That was at the tender age of five. Since then, art has been an integral part of her life. She graduated from the School of Visual Arts in NY and began a free-lance career, focusing mainly on the greeting card industry.

Barb’s wide range of styles is influenced by her many interests. Retro art, in fact all things antique, is one of them. Her art also reflects her love of the whimsical.

Barb’s designs have been licensed worldwide for many products including greeting cards, calendars, textiles, wall art, and vintage signs, and her art has been spotted on the TV shows Bones and HGTV. A consummate professional, Barb knows the ins and outs of licensing, which allows her to bring added value to the manufacturers who license her designs.
